We welcome people of all gender identities, sexual orientations, ages, races, ethnicities, family configurations, and physical and mental capabilities to join us in full participation as we come together to worship God and then go out to share God’s love in the world around us.

Sunday Morning Learning and TRADITIONAL Worship
Sunday School begins at 9:15 am. We gather at 10:30 am on Sunday mornings in our historic sanctuary to experience the transcendence and majesty of God. Our service includes the best of traditional worship. Our worship is rooted in weekly reading of scriptures based on the Revised Common Lectionary which means we read the same scripture texts millions of other Christians around the world on any given Sunday. Hearing assistance devices are available during worship.
A nursery is available for children birth through age three and is located on the lower level, Room 111. Pagers are available for nursery staff to notify parents. Children ages three through grade 5 may leave the service after the Children’s Message and go to Children’s Church which is also located in the lower level, Room 112.
Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of every month.
After worship join us for a time of fellowship in Kenyon Hall (west of the sanctuary). Coffee, juice and goodies are served. Stopping by will give us a great opportunity to meet one another.
At First Church we believe that everyone has value. That is why we are a member of the Reconciling Ministries Network. We are proud that we join other United Methodist congregations who welcome people of all sexual orientations and gender identities to transform our church and the world into the full expression of Christ’s inclusive love.
