Did you know that this year the hymn Joy to the World will be 300 years old? To honor that favorite carol we will have as our Advent “study” the theme of Joy. All sessions begin at 6:15 PM.
December 4th we will be asking “What is the nature of joy?” “What are the obstacles to joy?”
December 11th we will experience joy by having a get together to create wreaths for our homes. (More info below)
December 18th we will discover ways to find joy in what really matters
If you want to make a wreath for your home, you may place your order now. Orders must be placed by December 1st. The wreaths are made from fresh greens and will last for several months. We will order and pick them up and have them available for you to decorate.
10″ wreath – $22
24″ wreath – $30
30″ wreath – $33
You will need to bring to the class whatever you would like to decorate your wreath with (ribbon, lights, decorations). A few items will be available that night for purchase.
To order your wreath, stop by the table in Kenyon Hall. Please sign the attendance register on Sunday to attend the Joy discussions (December 4 & 18) or the wreath making class.
